Welcome to Flowers at the Gate. We are not your normal Florist shop...in fact we are not a shop at all! I am predominantly a solo operator working from home at 77 Racecourse Road in Ashburton, an Acrylic artist and a very average golfer! All of which fill up my week.

‘Flowers at the Gate’ is just that...and an easy and accessible option for buying your Florist created bouquets, without any of the hassle of parking in town. The Flower Fridge, which is literally At the Gate, is OPEN EVERYDAY 7am- 7pm in Summer, 8am-6pm in Winter.

Simply drive up, select from our $50, $30 or $20 bouquets or $50 Box Bouquets and $20 mini posies then pay by cash, into the locked mailbox, or by online banking. We do not have an onsite credit card option. Flowers can easily be collected outside these hours if you let me know in time.

Alternatively order online but be aware that although we are open 7 days a week at the gate, I don’t have normal working hours, and online orders are generally only accessed Monday – Friday mornings. If you require an order outside that time I strongly suggest messaging me on 027 313 0615 to get confirmation that the order has been received. This includes stat holidays, long weekends etc which will also require prior arrangements.

Deliveries can be organised with adequate notice. Ashburton town $10, Tinwald $15, with-in 15km of Ashburton $20 Christchurch/Timaru $20. Rural Deliveries are not available sorry.
